Sellout
I found the eatingcleveland.com blog back when I did a blitz on Cleveland bloggers when I started my blog. I have more than a hundred in my Google reader now. This blog seemed exciting but pretty quickly lost its shine.

Liz Symon's Interview @ Restaurant Hospitality →
This is a great interview (via) and gives a bit of insight into the Symons’ involvement in the new Detroit restaurant. I feared that it was mostly in name but it sounds like design, vendors, etc. were handled by the Cleveland team. Cool.

Chorizo al Infierno
While bar-hopping in Seville we stopped in a corner eatery and I saw a chalk sign for Chorizo al Infierno — and my bad Spanish led me to think “spicy sausage”. We had tapas‘ed ourselves out for the moment so until we saw another patron order this we weren’t planning to eat.
That changed immediately of course. They skewered a few one inch pieces of sausage, put...

I’ve read 7 of 8, and just last year listened to the Snow Crash audiobook, so I’m an elite geek.
